Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to book with Cartagena VIP?
Yes. We've been operating in Cartagena since 2014, with a 4.9/5 rating across 500+ Google reviews and 5.0/5 across 224 Tripadvisor reviews (Travelers' Choice 2023–2026). Every service runs with bilingual guides and private, vetted transportation.
How much is the deposit, and is it refundable?
A 50% deposit secures your pricing and availability. It is non-refundable under all circumstances (schedule changes, weather, emergencies) because it's used immediately to pay our partners and lock in your booking.
When is the remaining balance due, and can I reschedule?
The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before your flight date. Rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 7 days before travel, subject to availability, with one change permitted per service.
What does my Cartagena VIP host do?
Your host meets you at the airport, coordinates the day-to-day logistics of your stay, handles last-minute changes, and speaks both English and Spanish — so you're never on your own.
What is included with a private yacht charter in Cartagena?
Every private yacht and boat rental includes a licensed captain, deck assistant, fuel for the agreed island route (Rosario Islands, Cholón, or Barú), onboard sound system, and cooler with ice. Dock taxes, catering, DJs, and water toys can be added by our concierge team.
